Dream Queen

very interesting flavor - menthol, sage, tar, and a little fruit. Over time, the flavor faded to mostly caryophelene (pepper), and the potency seemed to drop off.

3rd and final strain I grabbed from SHF is this Dream Queen. As soon as I stuck my nose on the bag I was taken back 10-15yrs to sitting in my homie hot ass garage smoking fatass doobies of blue dream. This has the exact smell, taste, look, everything if the blue dreams I remember getting way back in those days. I'm gonna come out and say I'm not really the biggest fan of the strain, but it's certainly potent and nostalgic! The aroma/taste is sweet(berry maybe?) earthy, & slightly skunky on the grind The effects are extremely eady to me, almost no body buzz, just straight up feels like I'm wearing a headband or some goggles, with a just little stonage trinkling down to the shoulders, lol. I'd say this one was a cool flash from the past, and overall I'd rate it about an 8.4/10 - blue dream fans would probably rate much higher.

It just didn't hit the mark for me personally. I think it's being overhyped a bit because its a Blue Dream cross, and because of a solid prior release. The nose is great, very pineapple/citrus forward with some minty-ness at the end. The effects are in line with a middle-of-the-road sativa. Slight behind the eyes as well as the temples. Need to use more than usual to get desired level of effects. Bud structure is somewhat dense with a clean trim. Cure is on the drier side. I will give credit where its due, the buds look great. Frosted nugs with beautiful orange pistils. My fingers become sticky when broken up by hand. These buds are SMALL, like HM smalls small. I found it somewhat misleading that this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the site, especially since they are advertising and selling other various mediums and smalls. My first photo is a comparison between HM BBG smalls (above the tray) and what I received (in/below the tray). My largest nug weighs half a gram. Normally I wouldn't be too upset at this if Justin hadn't literally mentioned that "some strains will be all large like dream queen". Maybe I just got a bad bag? Who knows, I can only review what I received. This was slightly cheaper than the other secret stash strain that was released alongside it (Super MAC), maybe that should have been an indicator. Overall, probably my least favorite secret stash purchase so far.
