Cantaloupe Haze (Indoor)

Grabbed this from TCC a few days ago and finally got the chance to give it a review! Upon opening the TerpLoc bag I was immediately greeted with a pleasant, sweet, aroma of melon rind and something else I can't quite put my finger on. But when i dumped the bag into a jar, I must say I was thoroughly disappointed in getting all smalls/micros for a full retail priced 8th of flower ($30) that should've been standard sized buds. I did reach out and TCC assured me these buds were all "full-sized buds from tops of the plant, that he's aggressively de-stemmed amd broken down to prevent mold during the cure" - I do find this to be lackluster reasoning, especially for an experienced grower, if I'm being totally honest. Nonetheless, let's move onto the real meat & potatoes; how's it smoking? The stuff smokes GREAT, nice smell, good flavor to match as well, definitely not some "stank" but more of that nice melon rind flavor with a little something else I just cant figure out! Lol. The effect slap hard and I mean HARD. Extremely indica dominant feel, very much a stoney, sleepy, nightime face-melter lol. Overall, I'd rate the quality of the bud itself 9.2/10, but the experience did leave a bit to be desired, I can get micros/bottom barrells from HF or HM that provide alot better value and similar effects. Though I will add that TCC does consistently put out a very high quality product, this is not me taking any shots, just my honest review!
